Most Romantic Gift Received

A mint milkshake from McD’s.

No, seriously, this is actually one of my favorite things my husband has ever done for me. In case you’re not as obsessed with these as we are you probably don’t know that they are only available seasonally and regionally.

When we first moved to California, March came around and we went to the nearest McDonalds to get our annual Green Milkshake. Imagine our agony when we were told they don’t have them around here. What?!? Have you no Irish in California?!? Oh wait…..

Anyways, 2 years later I was working at a stationary store when Matt showed up unexpectedly with a large GREEN MILKSHAKE!!!! He had driven to 4 different McDonalds before he found one that sold them…..just so he could bring it to me at work :-)

I think that actually made up for his not sending me flowers for my 21st birthday when I was living in England……or maybe not.

This just proves that MIT engineers are more romantic than you might think :-)

Or it could be that I’ve been brainwashed.
